Professional Job Description

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial performance, management reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning for the organisation. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial insights to senior management, strengthen financial controls, and support business growth through accurate analysis and effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and period-end closing activities.

Monitor the company's financial performance against business targets and budgets.

Prepare accurate financial reports, management reports, and financial analysis for senior management.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.

Manage financial controls, accounting policies, and internal control processes.

Analyse revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow, and key financial performance indicators.

Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

Identify financial risks, cost-management opportunities, and areas for operational improvement.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial reviews and audits.

Work closely with commercial, operations, sales, and senior management teams.

Improve financial reporting processes, systems, and controls.

Lead and develop finance team members where applicable.

Present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.

Professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.

Extensive experience in financial controlling, accounting, FP&A, or corporate finance.

Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and management accounting.

Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, and corporate governance.

Experience working with senior management and cross-functional business teams.

Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting/ERP systems.

Experience in a multinational or technology/manufacturing environment is an advantage.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay: $8,000.00 - $16,000.00 per month
