Job Description:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations and ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This role involves supervising production workers, managing stock handling and movement, optimizing workflows, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth production operations.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum SPM qualification.

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar production or manufacturing role.

• Experience in supervising production workers is preferred.

• Good understanding of production processes and shop floor operations.

• Able to manage and coordinate workers effectively.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Familiar with workplace safety and quality management requirements.

• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

• Lead workers in stock handling, movement, and storage according to the schematic layout and designated plan.

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities.

• Ensure production schedules are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

• Ensure shop floor activities comply with QMS, EMS, and safety requirements.

• Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

• Train, mentor, and evaluate production workers.

• Support engineers in identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency.

• Manage workforce allocation and resolve staffing issues.

• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams.

• Address production issues and troubleshoot operational problems, escalating them to engineers when required.

• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the production floor.

• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
