Secondary (SPM/STPM) or Diploma in Travel, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field; an IATA Foundation Course is an advantage.

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in airline reservations or ticketing within the travel industry.

Experience in sales support, customer service, or travel/tour coordination is an advantage.

Experience liaising with airlines, hotels, transport providers, and other suppliers is an advantage.

Working knowledge of travel booking processes and tour operations.

Good organisational and coordination skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ability to prepare itineraries, rooming lists, and travel documentation accurately.

Good customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.

Willingness to support tour departures and work outside normal hours when required.

Meticulous and detail-oriented with a proactive attitude.

Assist travel agents and clients with ticketing inquiries via email and other channels.

Assist with general administrative tasks to support smooth team operations.

Create and manage PNRs for individual FIT bookings across GDS systems.

Quote fares accurately, including published and basic private fares, and provide clear guidance on airline rules and ticket conditions.

Issue, reissue, and cancel/refund airline tickets in compliance with airline policies and procedures.

Manage reservations including changes, special requests, and itinerary updates.

Verify ticket details to ensure accuracy in passenger information, routing, fare basis, and pricing.

Monitor weekend queues and ensure timely action on pending bookings.

Ensure full compliance with airline regulations, ticketing deadlines, and company standards.

Maintain proper documentation and records for all ticketing transactions.

Coordinate with airlines and internal departments to resolve ticketing issues or discrepancies.

Support preparation of reports or summaries related to ticketing and sales data.

Manage and provide ADM/ACM dispute reasons in coordination with the ticketing team.
