About the Roles

Join a company specialising in Industrial Automation & Factory Automation Solutions as an Assistant Application Engineer, based in Kallang. This is a permanent position with a 5-day work week (Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 5:30pm), offering a basic salary of up to $3,200, Performance Bonus, and AWS.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Respond to technical enquiries from customers and sales teams on product specifications, applications, and capabilities.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues through phone, email, and on-site support.
• Perform product application testing, system configuration, adjustments, and fine-tuning.
• Deliver post-sales application training to customers.
• Develop and maintain training manuals and technical documentation.
• Assist sales teams with technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Recommend improvements to department workflows and operational efficiency.
• Carry out other assigned technical support tasks and projects.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of logic control and Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of communication protocols, including Serial, Modbus TCP, Ethernet, and EtherNet/IP.
• Familiarity with HMI programming.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Customer-focused with good organisational, prioritisation, and interpersonal skills.
