Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and student-focused Home Room Teacher / Form Teacher to support students throughout their academic journey. The role involves taking overall responsibility for an assigned form class, communicating with students and parents, and providing relief teaching support when required.

The position is open to Full-Time candidates with prior experience as a Home Room Teacher or Form Teacher, along with strong experience and confidence in teaching English at Secondary level and above.

Job Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the assigned form class and provide day-to-day guidance and support to students.

• Build positive relationships with students and monitor their academic progress, attendance, behaviour, and general well-being.

• Communicate with parents or guardians regarding students' academic performance, attendance, conduct, and other relevant matters.

• Coordinate with teachers and academic staff to address student-related concerns and provide appropriate follow-up.

• Teach English to Secondary-level and higher-level students according to the assigned curriculum and learning requirements.

• Prepare lessons, classroom activities, exercises, and other teaching materials for English classes.

• Provide relief teaching support for other classes whenever necessary.

• Maintain a positive, organised, and conducive classroom environment.

• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school activities, and other academic or student-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.

• Able to provide relief teaching support English subject at Secondary level and above when required.

• Previous experience as a Form Teacher, Home Room Teacher, English Teacher, or similar academic role is preferred.

• Experience working with Secondary-level or higher level students is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Good classroom management and student-handling skills.

• Responsible, organized, and able to manage the overall duties of an assigned form class.

Education
