Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Baker / Pastry Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and producing a variety of breads, cakes, pastries and desserts while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a variety of cakes, pastries, breads and desserts according to recipes and production requirements.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, appearance and product quality.
• Prepare and measure ingredients accurately according to standard recipes.
• Handle baking equipment, ovens, mixers and other kitchen tools safely and efficiently.
• Develop and improve recipes, products and presentation when required.
• Assist in cake decoration, finishing and product presentation.
• Monitor baking times, temperatures and product quality.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery and work area in accordance with food safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels of baking ingredients and inform the supervisor of replenishment needs.
• Minimise wastage and ensure proper portion and ingredient control.
• Assist with special orders, events and other production requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
