A timely answer on an extension. A supervisor appointed with care. An at-risk case caught early. These small moments shape whether a PhD or Master's student finishes well, and they are the heart of the work in ADM's postgraduate research office.

We're growing our team at the School of Art, Design and Media (ADM), NTU, and we're looking for a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to join us.

What you'll do

• Run admissions, from application evaluation and faculty matching to scholarship interviews and appeals
• Guide students through their candidature, resolving extensions, supervision issues and policy exceptions
• Coordinate qualifying exams and thesis orals, including examiner appointments and Board of Examiners processes
• Administer scholarships, stipends and funding matters
• Build community through orientations, career workshops, networking sessions and research symposia
• Use data and process improvement to make our service better, and contribute to how we plan ahead

You might be a great fit if you

• Have 4 to 5 years of progressive administrative experience in higher education, ideally in postgraduate or research programmes
• Are strong in Excel and data analysis
• Stay calm with overlapping deadlines and still get the details right
• Use sound judgement when a case doesn't fit the policy
• Work warmly and professionally with students, faculty, senior leaders and international partners
• Speak English and Mandarin (an advantage for our partnership work and student support)
