about the company
We are looking for a Director of Enterprise & Solution Architecture to unify our technical vision, establish robust governance, and lead our architecture practice into the future.

You will be joining at a pivotal moment of digital transformation, stepping in to directly shape, build, and form our solution architecture capability. You will have the unique opportunity to champion our omnichannel roadmap, spearhead data-driven CRM strategies, and integrate cutting-edge agentic AI into our sales and commerce ecosystems.

about the job

• Provide clear ownership, mentorship, and direction to a distributed team of 6 to 7 architects (including principal and e-commerce specialists). You will move them past siloed project execution and drive them forward as a cohesive, high-performing technical unit.
• Introduce and chair Technical Design Authority (TDA) standards. You will look holistically at what we have, optimize cross-project synergies, and implement architecture governance that directly improves delivery across a massive change pipeline (targeting 70 active projects on the IT side by 2027).
• Step up to translate high-level business goals into practical technical patterns. You will ensure your team isn't just creating abstract designs but is actively unlocking delivery roadblocks and getting things running.
• Work closely with cross-functional leadership-including Edward Ho's SAP Enterprise team-to handle dependencies across SAP Commerce, SAP S/4HANA, and broader ERP systems.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the CIO and business unit leaders, translating complex multi-platform architectures into a clear, strategic "bigger picture.

skills and experience required
Proven track record of managing and developing capability in sizeable solution architecture teams, even if some team members have traditionally operated with limited direct management.

Extensive background in e-commerce, digital revenue, or omnichannel retail. Working knowledge or familiarity with SAP Commerce and enterprise integration ecosystems is highly beneficial.

Apply architectural frameworks (such as TOGAF) with a light, using them to enforce practical standards and governance without stifling innovation.

The permanent role for a Director of Enterprise & Solution Architecture offers a salary range of $ 250,000 - $ 280,000, along with additional company perks.
