KC PTPA Hiring! Full Time Personal Assistant in - Ricebowl

The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of activities to assist a retired but active and busy individual. In this position, you should feel comfortable coordinating calendar appointments, managing communications, and scheduling and supporting travel, as necessary.

Personal Assistant for a legally blind, but still fairly independent and mobile retiree (KC), with tasks including but not limited to:

• Reading assistance (letters, documents, books, etc.)
• IT support (navigating and troubleshooting on iPhone, MacBook, iPad, external monitor and keyboard, assistive devices)
• Scheduling work meetings, medical appointments, restaurant reservations, etc.
• Updating & managing iCal; reminding KC of appointments
• Research Assistant role for a book KC is writing, and other ad-hoc research needs for various projects
• Answering phone calls and managing correspondence
• Organising filing (physical and digital documents) and storage, including library reorganisation, sorting mail, other administrative tasks.
• Candidate should handle all matters with professionalism and strict discretion.

Qualifications/Qualities

• University graduate preferred but not imperative
• IT competencies critical, bonus if familiar with Apple devices
• Good command of English
• Good organisational and planning skills
• Self-directed and takes initiative
• Reliable, can work without instruction
• Flexible

Work location:
Hybrid, in-person at Bukit Timah and work from home

Salary
Compensation is based on an hourly rate from $25 per hour, and is the equivalent of receiving a salary of $4000 – 5000 per month if the job were a full-time position.

Expected hours per week: 2 half days (2 x 4hrs) + 2hrs work from home
