Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Job Description

Our client, an established construction company in Singapore, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support tender preparation, contract administration and construction project cost management.

The successful candidate will handle tender and post-tender commercial activities, including cost estimation, subcontractor procurement, progress claims, budgeting and project cost control.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for construction tenders and quotations.

• Review construction drawings, specifications and tender documents for pricing purposes.

• Evaluate and compare subcontractors' quotations.

• Prepare subcontracting, purchasing and contract administration documents.

• Monitor project budgets, expenditure and cost performance.

• Prepare progress claims and evaluate subcontractor payment submissions.

• Maintain monthly costing, claims, budget and payment records.

• Prepare commercial and cost monitoring reports.

• Coordinate with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors on contractual and commercial matters.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.

• Hands-on experience in quantity take-offs, tender pricing and contract administration.

• Familiar with construction budgeting, cost control and progress claims.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CCS PO/WO Module.

• Knowledge of construction cost management and control techniques.

• Able to prepare accurate costing reports and commercial documentation.

• Good analytical, communication, negotiation and organisational skills.

• ISO Internal Auditor Certification is an advantage.

• Able to work the stated Monday-to-Saturday schedule.
