What The Role Is

You will develop and maintain the Professional Military Knowledge (PMK) subject framework across different courses, supporting the development of Officers, Warrant Officers and Specialists at different stages of their careers.

What You Will Be Working On

• Work with subject owners, subject-matter experts, and curriculum teams to coordinate reviews of subject content, learning outcomes, and assessments
• Ensure appropriate sequencing, depth, and progression across PMK subjects
• Identify gaps and overlaps in subject content
• Assess the suitability of learning materials and confirm that proposed subject structures are coherent at the working level
• Consolidate findings and submit reviewed subject structures for wider curriculum integration
• Recommend improvements to the PMK framework and subject design
  
  

Challenge(s)

• Reconciling differing perspectives and priorities among subject owners and stakeholders
• Balancing academic rigour, operational relevance, and the developmental needs of learners across different courses
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Education in Curriculum Development, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field is preferred
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in curriculum development, training development, subject reviews, or academic quality assurance is preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate subject structures, learning outcomes, and assessment approaches
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with subject-matter experts and diverse stakeholders
• Ability to exercise sound professional judgement and recommend practical improvements to subject design and curriculum frameworks
