Responsibilities
Objectives of the position:
The Accounts Assistant will provide essential support to the Financial Planning Analyst by handling day to day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and assisting with reporting and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices and payments
Maintain accurate supplier records
Process staff claims and payments
Prepare / post journal entries and maintain GL accuracy
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Sales Commission and Incentives calculations
Assist in any ad-hoc task assigned by supervisor
Skills & Qualification:
Minimum Diploma in Accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
ERP systems e.g.. SAP is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and take on new tasks
1-2years of relevant accounting experience
