Role Overview : As the Senior Product Manager (Multi-Platform Execution) at TROOPERS, you are the definitive anchor for our product delivery lifecycle. We are seeking a legitimate, highly execution-focused Product Manager—not a design or AI-copywriting specialist—to manage actual product work, coordinate complex deliveries, and handle strategic product positioning. You will bridge the gap between business risk and engineering output, ensuring strict adherence to sprint ceremonies, active mid-sprint testing, and direct resolution of communication bottlenecks. Delivery success and engineering accountability are at the core of this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Management & Task Execution: Leverage strong project management skills to orchestrate delivery, ensuring work is completed efficiently, whether sequentially or in parallel. Implement rigorous task management to keep cross-functional teams aligned and accountable for their respective responsibilities.
- Roadmap Commitment & Scope Enforcement: Fully own feature enhancements and roadmap commitments. Actively prevent unilateral delays and utilize strong negotiation skills to avoid scope creep. Mandate that any shifts in delivery dates must be evaluated through a formal Decision Sprint to mitigate financial risks. Hold the Head of Engineering and the tech team accountable to agreed deadlines.
- Strategic & Systems Thinking: Apply strategic thinking to continuously identify and prioritize the core problems the organization needs to solve. Utilize systems thinking to understand and manage how different product features, technical components, and operational workflows relate to one another across the ecosystem.
- Sprint Ceremonies & Continuity Planning: Command sprint planning with fixed, non-negotiable dates. Ensure maximum preparedness prior to ceremonies to prevent stalling the entire team due to hotfixes or leaves. Establish rigorous continuity planning so that developers have absolute clarity on tasks and priorities at all times, preventing stalled productivity when leadership is away.
- Active Co-Testing & Quality Ownership: Move beyond "literal" delivery. Actively co-test with developers mid-sprint to identify and resolve missing flows (such as mandatory validation flows) before they reach the UAT phase. Prevent scenarios where uncoordinated builds are handed over to stakeholders with glaring omissions.
- Direct Communication & Unblocking: Act as a proactive problem solver, not a middleman. Directly communicate with engineering leads, stakeholders, and operations to find root causes of internal blocks and clear communication lines. Intervene immediately when team members are stalled waiting for responses.
- End-to-End Product Execution: Manage the legitimate product lifecycle across multiple platforms, including coordinating multi-team deliveries, managing task backlogs, defining detailed technical product specifications, and ensuring market positioning is expertly handled without getting bogged down by purely design iterations or copywriting.
