About us

Gosamē is a premium Korean restaurant in Seoul and Kuala Lumpur. Grilled mackerel and stir-fried spicy squid, on platters made for sharing. Our Bukit Tunku restaurant opened in October 2026: about 100 seats, open 11AM – 11PM every day, walk-in and queue.

The role

You run the restaurant. Floor, kitchen and the people in both. You report to the Chief Executive Officer.

What you do

• Lead a team of about 50: service crew, hosts, cooks, kitchen crew and stewards.
• Build the weekly roster. Cover every shift, manage overtime, keep rest days fair.
• Run the floor at peak. Keep the queue moving and tables turning without rushing guests.
• Hold the standards: food served within 10 minutes, a clean dining room, a calm host stand.
• Watch the numbers: daily sales, labour cost, food cost, voids and waste.
• Handle guest feedback and online reviews, and make it right when something goes wrong.
• Hire, train and coach the team. Run briefings before every shift.
• Keep licences, food safety and hygiene inspection-ready.

What you bring

• At least 3 years managing a full-service restaurant, 80 seats or more.
• Experience leading both front and back of house.
• Comfortable with rosters, POS reports and basic P&L.
• Calm under pressure. You stay on the floor when it gets busy.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to work weekends, public holidays and late shifts.
• Korean or Japanese restaurant experience is a plus.

• RM 4,000 – RM 5,500 basic, based on experience.
