Responsibilities
A clinic assistant manages front-desk operations, handles patient administration, and supports doctors to ensure smooth daily operations in a medical practice.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, manage walk-ins and phone calls, and reply to messages via WhatsApp, email, etc
- Restock medical supplies, perform stock-taking, and maintain general cleanliness in the clinic
- Process payments, issue receipts, manage insurance claims, and handle local subsidies or programs (such as CHAS and Medisave).
- Handle patient registration, schedule and confirm appointments, and update personal and medical records.
- Assist doctors during consultations, prepare examination rooms, take vital signs, and dispense medications under instruction.
- Prior experience in healthcare or hospitality is a bonus, but many clinics provide on-the-job training for fresh entrants.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE "N" or "O" Levels (or equivalent). Discretion given.
- Basic computer literacy, strong communication skills, and a helpful, customer-service mindset.
