We are working with a growing organisation in Singapore to hire an IT Security Manager to lead its security function and strengthen its posture across infrastructure, applications and endpoints.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a small team of security analysts/engineers, setting priorities and reviewing their work
- Own the organisation's vulnerability management programme, including scanning cadence, risk-based prioritisation and remediation tracking across business units
- Monitor security alerts and oversee incident response, acting as escalation point for significant incidents
- Lead security assessments, audits and compliance reviews (e.g. ISO 27001, MAS TRM), and report risk posture to senior stakeholders
- Set direction on security tooling (SIEM, EDR, firewalls) and oversee vendor relationships
- Partner with IT and infrastructure leadership to embed secure configurations, patching and change-management practices
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards and staff awareness programmes
- Manage security budget and resourcing in line with business priorities
Requirements
- Six or more years in IT security, with at least two years in a people-management or team-lead capacity
- Demonstrated ownership of a vulnerability management programme end to end
- Strong working knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and endpoint protection
- Experience presenting risk and security posture to senior stakeholders or management committees
- Relevant certifications an advantage (CISSP, CISM, CEH)
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; comfortable bridging technical and non-technical audiences
