ES Foundry Hiring! Full Time CIM Engineer in Melaka - Ricebowl

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing electrical components into devices. They will also help design and manufacture electrical products of all shapes and sizes. They should be able to make quality assurance checks in order to keep the product standard high.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end MES system enhancement lifecycle, including user requirement gathering, solution discussion, vendor coordination, UAT, deployment, go-live, post-deployment support, change management, and relevant technical documentation.
• Support and maintain MES system, including daily system monitoring, production issue troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and factory-floor technical support to minimize production impact.
• Support Equipment Integration (EAP), including equipment connectivity, data parameters collection using industrial communication protocols such as SECG/GEM and OPC.
• Work closely with equipment vendors, manufacturing, process, equipment, and IT teams to troubleshoot equipment-to-system communication and integration issues.
• Design, implement, and maintain interfaces between MES, EAP, equipment systems, and other manufacturing/enterprise applications, including SPC, FDC, traceability, WMS/ERP, and reporting platforms.
• Support manufacturing traceability and data integrity, including investigation and resolution of missing, duplicated, or inconsistent equipment data.
• Develop and maintain production reports, dashboards, SQL queries, and data solutions to support business requirements.
• Ensure the reliability of manufacturing system integrations and data flow, proactively identifying and resolving communication and data synchronization issues.
• Drive factory digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying manual or inefficient processes and implementing practical integration or automation solutions.

Key Requirements

• Experience or strong knowledge in MES and Equipment Integration (EAP).
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as SECG/GEM and OPC is required.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases is required.
• Programming experience in scripting languages such as Python, with strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams and with external vendors.
• Hands-on and proactive approach to troubleshooting production system and equipment integration issues.
• Previous experience in the photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing industry is preferred.
