Job Summary

The Product Engineer supports the development and introduction of new products (NPI) by working closely with Design, Industrial Engineering, Test and Production teams.

This role ensures that new products are introduced on schedule and meet the required quality and performance standards. The Product Engineer also provides engineering support for product-related issues, maintains technical documentation, and verifies that manufacturing processes comply with established specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Product Engineer in liaising with customers' Design Engineers on new product development activities.
• Support timely new product introduction (NPI) while ensuring products meet the required quality standards.
• Coordinate the transfer of product technical information and specifications to relevant departments.
• Work with Industrial Engineers and Test Engineers during new product pilot runs to ensure assembly and testing methods meet product specifications and quality requirements.
• Provide engineering support in resolving product-related issues to ensure compliance with product specifications and performance requirements.
• Ensure technical documents are properly maintained, updated and communicated to relevant departments accurately and on time.
• Conduct periodic inspections of manufacturing activities to verify compliance with established processes, quality requirements and product design standards. Report any non-compliance to the superior.
• Ensure all areas of responsibility comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned when required.

Pay: RM4,300.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
