Key Responsibilities

• Billing Execution & Accuracy: Ensure invoices are accurate, complete, correctly documented and billed on time
• Statutory & Compliance: Ensure billing complies with statutory and tax requirements across serviced markets (including VAT and WHT), and aligns with internal billing guidelines and policies
• Query & Dispute Resolution: Act as the escalation point for billing queries raised by clients, Account Managers and the Collections Lead; investigate discrepancies and resolve disputes
• Standardisation & Quality Control: Continuously improve billing and collection processes and documentation across the region; review and QA monthly billing outputs and collection practices
• Systems & Data Integrity: Ensure client and billing master data in Acumatica is accurate, including rate card data, and ready for billing ahead of the upcoming billing period
• Collections Execution: Drive timely payment of invoices and maintain strong, professional client relationships
• Accounts Receivable & Ageing Management: Monitor AR ageing, prioritise long overdue balances and maintain a clean, current book
• Cash Application: Ensure incoming payments are accurately and promptly allocated to client accounts; investigate and resolve unallocated cash and payment mismatches
• Cash Flow Forecasting: Maintain accurate cash collection projections based on DSO trends, client promises to pay, and other known variables; analyse variances to forecasts
• DSO Reduction: Drive initiatives to reduce DSO while preserving strong client relationships
• Escalation & Bad Debt Management: Escalate at-risk accounts through the appropriate process and support provisioning or write-off recommendations where required

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years experience in billing and collections, ideally within a digital media or professional services environment
• Experience with automated billing platforms and ERP systems; exposure to GMP reseller billing is advantageous
• Comfortable managing high invoice volumes across multiple currencies and markets
• Strong attention to detail and a control mindset
• Proven ability to quality-review both your own work and that of others
• Working knowledge of VAT/GST and withholding tax considerations across international markets
• Experience with multiple currencies and cash forecasting is advantageous
• A confident, professional communicator, comfortable holding firm but constructive conversations with clients

Incubeta is seeking an experienced APAC Billing and Collection Lead to join the Order to Cash (O2C) team to manage invoicing and collections for APAC, covering the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) reseller and services business. The role reports to the Head of O2C and works closely with the Billing Automation team, Account Managers, Market Leads and Operations Leads to deliver high-quality billing, effective collections and continuous operational improvements in efficiency, control and accuracy.
