Job Summary

Join Kim Hua Construction as a Site Engineer to lead site activities, ensuring safe, efficient execution aligned with project requirements and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure adherence to technical drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe site environment while managing materials and equipment efficiently
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth work progress and timely issue resolution
• Attend site meetings and deliver regular progress updates to stakeholders to support informed decision-making
• Review and interpret technical drawings to provide on-site technical guidance and proactively resolve site-related issues
• Assist in preparing work schedules and monitor construction progress to ensure projects meet deadlines
• Implement safety and quality control procedures consistently to maintain compliance and site standards
• Prepare accurate site reports and maintain progress records for quality control and regulatory compliance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline with relevant hands-on site experience
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings to support technical site decisions
• Practical understanding of local site management, construction methods, quality control, and safety procedures
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders
• Proactive problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to managing site teams and subcontractors
