About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join one of our key clients in the financial technology and banking solutions sector.

The role involves managing and improving enterprise network infrastructure across production, development, UAT, and cloud environments. You will be responsible for network operations, troubleshooting, security, architecture improvements, automation, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, enhance, and optimize enterprise network architecture for high availability, resilience, and scalability.
• Manage corporate, development, UAT, production, and cloud networks.
• Configure and manage firewalls, switches, routers, VLANs, ACLs, NAT, routing, and VPN connectivity.
• Support and troubleshoot IPSec VPN and other secure network connections.
• Perform network monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Diagnose complex network issues involving packet loss, routing, connectivity, and performance.
• Use tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, traceroute, ping, nslookup/dig, and telnet for network troubleshooting.
• Manage firmware, security, and vulnerability updates for network devices.
• Maintain accurate network asset and infrastructure documentation.
• Support network installation, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Participate in 24x7 rotational support and provide escalation support for major incidents.
• Support network maintenance, production deployments, and go-live activities during scheduled maintenance windows.
• Assist with Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) activities.
• Support cloud-related network and security services including DNS, reverse proxy, and Anti-DDoS solutions.
• Contribute to network automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using scripting and tools such as Terraform.
• Support security audits, compliance activities, and technical documentation.
• Work closely with Cloud, Security, Infrastructure, Application, and Compliance teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior network engineers.
• Drive standardization, documentation, SOPs, and continuous improvement across network operations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise or production network environments.
• Strong experience with:
• Network troubleshooting and monitoring
• IP addressing and subnetting
• VLANs and routing
• NAT and ACLs
• Firewalls, switches, and routers
• VPN technologies, particularly IPSec
• SNMP and network monitoring
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network infrastructure.
• Good understanding of network architecture and design principles.
• Experience with network automation or scripting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform is an advantage.
• Experience working in regulated, financial, or enterprise environments is an advantage.
• Willingness to participate in 24x7 rotational support and scheduled after-hours maintenance when required.

Certifications

• CCNA or equivalent certification is required.
• CCNP or other advanced networking certifications are strongly preferred.
