Lead Workplace Safety & Health Compliance Across Major Building Construction Projects

Position:
Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) / WSHO cum ECO
Working Week:
Monday – Saturday, 5.5 Days per Week
Salary:
SGD 6,500 – SGD 8,000 (Highly Negotiable)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement and monitor workplace safety and health policies across building construction sites.
Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments and safety audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive safety measures.
Investigate workplace accidents, incidents and near misses, preparing reports and corrective action plans.
Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and training for site personnel and subcontractors.
Liaise with MOM, project teams and relevant authorities on safety compliance and inspections.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) Certificate and MOM Registration — Mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of relevant construction safety experience, preferably with an A1 Main Contractor.
Experience in large-scale Building Construction projects, including commercial, industrial or high-rise developments.
Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations, risk management and construction safety requirements.
Experience conducting site inspections, safety audits, incident investigations and safety training.
Good communication, leadership and reporting skills, with the ability to enforce safety standards on-site.
Additional Requirement for WSHO cum ECO:
Relevant Environmental Control Officer (ECO) qualification and registration, where required for the assigned project.
