Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in Bukit Minyak, Penang. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising production teams, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Relevant working experience may be considered.

2. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a supervisory role.

3. Good knowledge of production planning, manufacturing processes, quality control, and workplace safety.

4. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.

5. Ability to manage production schedules, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

6. Familiarity with production reporting, inventory control, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen is an advantage.

7. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and production management systems.

8. Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.

9. Responsible, proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

1. Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

2. Monitor production processes and manpower allocation to ensure efficient resource utilization.

3. Lead, guide, and motivate production operators to maintain productivity, discipline, and teamwork.

4. Ensure production operations comply with company policies, SOPs, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

5. Monitor production output, machine performance, and material usage to minimize waste and downtime.

6. Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to improve operational efficiency and product quality.

7. Coordinate with Quality Control (QC), Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning departments to ensure smooth production operations.

8. Prepare daily production reports covering output, rejection rates, downtime, and manpower attendance.

9. Ensure production equipment, tools, and work areas are properly maintained.

10. Conduct regular workplace inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with 5S practices.

11. Train new employees and provide ongoing guidance to production team members.

12. Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce operating costs, and optimize manufacturing processes.
