Sharp Resources is working with a global management consulting firm to hire Engineers (Analysts and Associates) into its Product Excellence practice in South East Asia.

The practice brings product design together with operational consulting to help clients improve their product portfolios. Teams take apart clients’ products, find problems in manufacturing and the supply chain, and identify ways to cut cost and complexity, improve margins and meet sustainability goals. The work draws on consumer insight and is delivered alongside a specialist product and industrial design partner.

This role suits Engineers who want to apply their technical background to consulting problems, working across engineering, design and business strategy.

What the firm is looking for

• A degree in Engineering
• At least 3 years of professional experience in one or more of: chemical engineering, electronic hardware or device design, mechanical, industrial or automotive systems design, packaging design or science, or R&D
• Fluent English; Mandarin is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability
• A genuine interest in how products, machines and technologies work
• The initiative to develop new capabilities that help clients design and build more efficient products
