Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsive, technically skilled, and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our technology support team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our internal IT systems, hardware, networks, and software applications. You will serve as the primary point of contact for technical assistance, delivering both on-site and remote troubleshooting for laptops, communication platforms, and enterprise software. Your focus will be on maximizing operational uptime, managing user onboarding, and ensuring absolute adherence to corporate security protocols, system backups, and identity management policies.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or CCNA) are highly advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of active experience in IT helpdesk, desktop support, or system administration within Singapore.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced troubleshooting knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, computer hardware, and mobile device deployment. Direct experience administering cloud productivity suites, specifically Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and Google Workspace. Practical competency in network diagnostics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi routing, VPN configurations) and running remote diagnostic utilities (such as UltraViewer or TeamViewer). Clear understanding of identity access management, user provisioning, and multi-factor authentication systems (2FA/TOTP).
  • Core Competencies: Excellent analytical problem-solving and diagnostic capabilities under active operational pressures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle end-user challenges patiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Resolution & End-User Support: Diagnose, track, and resolve daily technical support tickets related to software errors, operating system crashes, hardware faults, and network connectivity constraints.
  • Hardware & Software Provisioning: Configure, deploy, and keep inventory records of company hardware, including laptops, desktops, network printers, IP phones, and workplace peripherals. Oversee automated operating system installations and system imaging.
  • Account Governance & 2FA Security: Handle user onboarding, offboarding, and access controls across central corporate software platforms. Enforce account protection standards, including setting up and auditing mandatory two-factor authentication (2FA) credentials.
  • Network & Infrastructure Maintenance: Monitor the stability and performance of regional office networks, office servers, and local firewalls. Collaborate with regional infrastructure or system groups to roll out localized technical improvements.
  • Software Patching & Compliance: Supervise and automate regular security patching, software distributions, and application updates across all endpoint devices to minimize corporate data vulnerabilities.
  • Technical Documentation & Training: Author clear, step-by-step documentation for internal technical wikis, configuration logs, asset management ledgers, and self-help guides for company end-users.
