About the role
Dynamix Champions Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our growing organisation in Melaka. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to lead and develop our sales operations, driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. As Senior Sales Manager, you will play a crucial strategic role within our sales department, responsible for leading high-performing teams and delivering exceptional results that directly contribute to the company's success and expansion objectives.
Key responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets and business objectives
Manage client relationships and identify new business opportunities within assigned territories or sectors
Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs, providing regular reporting and analysis to senior management
Conduct regular pipeline reviews and forecasting to ensure accurate sales projections
Recruit, train and retain high-calibre sales talent to strengthen team capabilities
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
Implement sales policies and procedures in line with company standards and regulatory requirements
Identify market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic sales planning
Participate in industry events, networking opportunities and client presentations to promote company services
What we're looking for
7+ years of professional sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a sales management or senior leadership role
Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets and business objectives
Strong experience in team leadership, staff management and talent development
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
Demonstrated proficiency in sales forecasting, pipeline management and data-driven decision making
Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
Experience in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales analytics tools
Results-oriented mindset with a competitive drive to succeed
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Preferred experience in the resources or manufacturing sector would be advantageous
