Singapore Business Federation Hiring! Intern, Strategic Networks and Engagement (Jan - Jun 2027) in - Ricebowl

As our Intern (Strategic Networks and Engagement), you will help enhance flagship programmes such as the Singapore Women Entrepreneurs Network (SG-WEN) Award, Young Business Leaders Network (YBLN) Mentorship Programme, support Singapore's chairmanship of ASEAN-level women and young entrepreneur networks, and design new ways to engage and grow the member community, working alongside our business networks team, entrepreneurs and regional partners. You will gain practical skills in programme development, community engagement and impact measurement, and see first-hand how business networks nurture the next generation of leaders across Singapore and ASEAN.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Programme & Platform Development

• Support the enhancement of strategic programmes and platforms, including the Singapore Women Entrepreneurs Network (SG-WEN) Award, Young Business Leaders Network (YBLN) Mentorship Programme and YBLN Leadership Retreat.
• Conduct benchmarking and research to identify best practices, emerging trends and opportunities for programme growth and innovation.
• Contribute to the development of programme concepts, implementation plans, stakeholder engagement approaches and measurement frameworks.

Regional Leadership & Ecosystem Engagement

• Support initiatives related to SG-WEN’s ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network (AWEN) Chairmanship and YBLN’s ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council (AYEC) Chairmanship.
• Assist with stakeholder mapping, ecosystem engagement and identifying opportunities for regional collaboration.

Member Engagement & Community Growth

• Support the development of a structured engagement strategy across SG-WEN and YBLN.
• Design and refine member journeys, engagement pathways and participation frameworks.
• Develop recommendations to strengthen member acquisition, engagement, retention and leadership participation.

Impact Measurement & Insights

• Support the development of dashboards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks to measure programme performance, member engagement and network impact.
• Analyse participation trends, feedback and outcomes, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Marketing & Communications

• Support content development and marketing efforts for programmes, initiatives and member engagement campaigns.
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, member communications and stakeholder briefing materials.

Requirements

• Preferably pursuing studies in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sociology, Public Policy, Events Management, Data Analytics or a related discipline
• Strong research, writing, project coordination and presentation skills
• Strong interest in entrepreneurship, business leadership, community building, and the Singapore and ASEAN business ecosystem
• Ability to develop structured processes, engagement journeys and practical implementation plans
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Canva, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, survey platforms or Power BI would be advantageous
• Creative and audience-sensitive, with the ability to craft clear, professional and engaging communications
• Proactive, organised and comfortable coordinating with members, partners, speakers and internal stakeholders
• Must be able to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum of five months starting from Jan 2027
