Job Summary
Coordinate and manage shipping operations to ensure timely cargo delivery. Prepare and process shipping documents, ensure compliance with customs regulations, and collaborate with internal teams to support smooth logistics and trading activities.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to arrange shipments and ensure cargoes are shipped according to schedule
Prepare and process shipping documents including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin to facilitate customs clearance at destinations
Prepare LC shipping documents in compliance with letter of credit requirements and manage LC shipments
Ensure shipments comply with customs regulations, laws, and company policies
Collaborate closely with Trading and Accounts departments to support seamless operational workflows
Manage multiple shipments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve shipping and logistics issues effectively
Work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve operational goals
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Knowledge of shipping and logistics processes to support efficient shipment planning and documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word) to prepare and manage shipping documents and reports
Ability to maintain high attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and shipment coordination
Ability to work independently with maturity and manage responsibilities autonomously
