Malaysian citizen

Fluent in English or Mandarin; able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia

Experience managing a manufacturing plant floor in Malaysia or overseas

Good knowledge of production planning, equipment management, QC, 5S and lean

Familiar with Malaysian OSH regulations and local labour practices

Strong problem-solving, team leadership and ability to work under pressure

Experience in Penang manufacturing is an advantage

Working hours: Normal hours; flexibility for shift coverage

Manage daily shop-floor operations to meet output, quality and delivery targets

Plan and schedule production; monitor equipment utilisation and uptime

Drive quality control, 5S and lean manufacturing on the line

Work with HR on operator rostering and shift management; reduce turnover

Control production waste and manufacturing cost

Coordinate with Equipment, Quality and Purchasing teams to resolve line issues quickly

Prepare production data reports

Lead a multicultural team of local staff and colleagues from our China HQ
