Responsibilities

Company Description Komoco Holdings Pte Ltd is a homegrown regional automotive group established in 1986 and headquartered in Singapore. With more than four decades of experience, the company is among the largest local distributors of cars. It manages a robust retail distribution network of over ten points of sale for three leading brands in Singapore and China, including Hyundai, Ferrari and Maserati. These brands serve a broad spectrum of motorists, from luxury cars and supercar enthusiasts to everyday drivers, supported by state-of-the-art aftersales facilities. Applicants can expect to join a dynamic, established organization with strong market presence and quality-driven operations.

Role Description The Group Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for overseeing consolidated financial reporting and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of group accounts. Day-to-day tasks include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, performing group consolidation, and managing cashflow, budgeting and forecasting activities. The role involves monitoring financial performance across entities, reviewing variances, and providing analysis to support management decision-making. The Group Accountant will also handle compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, coordinate audits, and improve internal controls and finance processes. Collaboration with finance teams and business units across the group is essential to maintain consistent accounting policies and high-quality financial information.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in accounting and finance, including group consolidation, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or equivalent), tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
  • Experience with ERP systems and accounting software, as well as advanced MS Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills to support management with clear financial insights.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and entities.
  • Recognized accounting qualification (e.g., degree in Accountancy/Finance, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) and relevant experience in group accounting or audit.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to meeting reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the automotive or distribution industry is an advantage, though not mandatory.
