An assistant construction manager supports the senior construction or project manager by overseeing daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, tracking project schedules and budgets, and ensuring work meets safety and quality standards. They act as a key link between the office and the field.

Core Responsibilities
- Site Supervision: Inspect daily work progress, monitor on-site activities, and help coordinate.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Schedule trade partners, relay instructions, resolve day-to-day conflicts
- Scheduling and Planning: Help build and update project timelines, keeping track of critical paths.
- Safety and Quality Control: Enforce site safety rules, safety audits and check that installations follow blueprints and building codes.
- Administrative and Financial Support: Manage documentation, take meeting minutes, track project expenses, and update digital platforms
