Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Executive, based in Johor Baharu with some flexibility to work from home. The Sales Executive will manage and grow a portfolio of customers, conduct regular client meetings, and follow up on leads to drive sales of adhesive products. Daily responsibilities include preparing quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, coordinating order processing with internal teams, and maintaining accurate sales records and reports. The role also involves monitoring market trends, identifying new business opportunities, supporting customer inquiries, and collaborating with operations and logistics to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The Sales Executive is expected to meet sales targets, participate in sales reviews, and represent the company professionally at customer visits and industry events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within manufacturing or industrial products.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to engage effectively with customers at different levels.
• Ability to analyze sales data, understand market trends, and develop practical sales strategies to meet targets.
• Comfort with using CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email) for reporting and follow-up.
• Proactive, results-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and in a team in a hybrid work environment.
• Willingness to travel within the region for client meetings and site visits as required.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Knowledge of industrial adhesives or related products is an advantage but not mandatory; readiness to learn technical product details is essential.
