Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Executive to support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s Quality Management System (QMS). The role will coordinate quality activities, support audits, maintain QMS documentation, monitor compliance, and work closely with various departments to maintain quality standards and drive continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, Applied Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, QMS, ISO, or a related quality function.
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001, QMS, and internal audit practices.
- Experience in QMS documentation, audit coordination, and quality management activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Positive, responsible, and initiative-oriented.
- Possess own transportation and willing to travel when required.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate annual internal and external quality and ISO audits, including audit planning, preparation, execution, and follow-up actions.
- Lead and coordinate annual Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) audits and ensure compliance with relevant requirements.
- Lead and coordinate ESG certification and assessment programs to support the organisation’s sustainability and compliance objectives.
- Monitor and ensure local vendors and suppliers meet the required quality, performance, and service standards.
- Work closely with relevant departments to achieve REDECON product quality objectives and standards.
- Assist or lead the Project Management Team (PMT) in preparing and submitting project quality documentation.
- Assist or lead during customer/end-user audits, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and other critical project milestones.
- Maintain accurate and well-organised records of project, quality, customer, audit, and related documentation, in both softcopy and hardcopy formats where required.
- Conduct and coordinate routine checks to ensure facilities and premises comply with applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate inspections during internal and external product and project staging activities to ensure all quality inspections and checklists are properly completed.
- Drive the effectiveness and continual improvement of the organisation’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure inspection procedures for incoming and outgoing goods comply with established quality standards, methods, and inspection plans.
- Ensure the QMS remains consistent with the organisation’s business context, objectives, and strategic direction.
- Review, develop, update, and improve processes, procedures, forms, manuals, and other QMS documents in collaboration with relevant HODs.
- Responsible for maintaining and controlling the master, duplicate, and softcopy QMS documents and their distribution throughout the organisation.
- Ensure the QMS remains compliant and up to date with the latest ISO requirements, applicable policies, standards, and local regulations.
- Maintain proper records and coordinate the follow-up and closure of internal and external NCRs, CAPs, CFFs, and other quality-related findings, data, and statistics.
- Monitor departmental compliance with established business processes, procedures, and documentation requirements to improve traceability, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Organize coaching, training, workshops, and awareness activities for all employees on QMS updates, introduction and orientation, HSE, ESG, and related requirements.
- Work closely with project delivery departments to ensure quality deliverables and services are in line with business policies and organizational values.
- Ensure project technical records are properly documented, organised, maintained, and securely stored for audit purposes and future references.
- Work closely with the Operations Department to evaluate and monitor key vendors and suppliers to ensure they provide competitive value, consistent quality, and reliable services.
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Department to monitor customer requirements, feedback, and areas for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with relevant departments to achieve their annual QMS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Work closely with relevant departments to identify and map Business Continuity Plan (BCP) requirements and associated Risk Assessments (RA).
- Establish, monitor, and achieve annual goals and objectives (OKR/ROCKS) in alignment with the organisation’s latest business direction and strategic priorities.
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
