Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Copier Service Technician to join our technical support team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform on-site and remote installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of multifunction photocopiers and printers.
• Must experience able to Provide technical support for Ricoh, Canon, and Fujifilm (Fuji Xerox) multifunction devices.
• Diagnose and rectify both minor and major hardware or system faults, including error code troubleshooting.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure optimum machine performance and reliability.
• Repair, replace, and service machine components according to manufacturer standards.
• Conduct quality inspections and performance testing after every repair or maintenance visit.
• Install and configure printers, scanners, network printing, and scanning solutions.
• Provide customer training on the proper operation and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Support customers through both on-site visits and remote technical assistance.
• Handle machine setup, relocation, commissioning, and decommissioning.
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
• Lead or assist the production and technical team when required.
• Ensure excellent customer service and timely response to service requests.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Copier / MFP Service Technician.
• Hands-on experience servicing Ricoh, Canon, and Fujifilm (Fuji Xerox) multifunction printers.
• Strong knowledge of copier hardware, firmware, networking, and scanning solutions.
• Able to troubleshoot machines from top to bottom, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
• Experienced in resolving machine error codes and performing major component replacements.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance procedures.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel to customer sites.
• Able to work both indoor and outdoor.
• Able to start work immediately or at the earliest available date.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading a technical or production team.
• Experience supporting enterprise printing environments.
• Knowledge of Windows networking, printer drivers, scan-to-email, scan-to-folder (SMB), and network configuration.
• Experience with preventive maintenance scheduling and service quality control.
