• Material Preparation: Measure, cut, and sew fabric, leather, or vinyl using patterns and templates.
• Padding & Cushioning: Install webbing, springs, foam, and padding to furniture frames to ensure structural integrity and comfort.
• Fabric Attachment: Stretch and secure covering materials over frames using staplers, tack hammers, glue, or industrial sewing machines.
• Repair & Restoration: Remove old fabric, foam, or springs from worn furniture and replace them to restore items to their original condition.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, alignment requirements, and design specifications.
• Workspace Safety: Maintain clean, organized workspaces and safely operate pneumatic tools, staple guns, and cutting equipment.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as an upholsterer, furniture maker, or in a similar manufacturing/crafting role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with industrial sewing machines, staple guns, webbing stretchers, and other upholstery tools.
• Precision: Strong spatial awareness, mathematical skills for accurate measuring/cutting, and an eye for detail.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy furniture components, and perform repetitive hand movements.
