Responsibilities
Site Operations:
Supervise daily construction activities, assign tasks to crew members, and maintain work flow.
Safety Enforcement:
Inspect job sites regularly, enforce health and safety regulations, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Quality Control:
Check work against blueprints, building plans, and specifications to meet quality standards.
Resource Management:
Monitor inventory, order necessary building materials and equipment, and coordinate site logistics.
Education:
High school diploma required; a diploma or degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Proven hands-on experience in the construction industry, often starting as a tradesperson or assistant.
Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and reading architectural/structural blueprints
