Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Reporting
: Manage full sets of accounts, general ledgers, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, bank reconciliations, and cash flow projections.Prepare monthly management accounts (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet) and statutory financial reports.
Compliance & Audits
: Ensure adherence to local tax and regulatory requirements.Coordinate external audits, prepare audit schedules, and liaise with auditors.Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) or general accounting frameworks (GAAP/IFRS).
Budgeting & Planning
: Help draft and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control measures.Analyze financial performance variances and report insights to senior management or the CFO.
Internal Controls & Leadership
: Develop, review, and improve internal accounting controls and operating procedures.Supervise, guide, and mentor members of the finance team.
Requirements
Professional Certifications
: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or ACCA qualification preferred.
Experience
: Typically
3 to 8 years
of accounting experience, including handling full sets of accounts and prior supervisory or managerial experience.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Kingdee) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Deep knowledge of local tax laws, statutory reporting, and financial controls.
