Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Master Craftsman to perform expert woodworking and carpentry, ensure craftsmanship standards, and deliver projects that meet design and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled woodworking, carpentry, and custom fabrication to produce wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures according to project specifications
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to guide woodworking tasks accurately
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wooden components to meet design and quality standards
• Select appropriate materials, tools, and techniques tailored to each project’s requirements
• Inspect finished products to verify quality, accuracy, and durability before delivery
• Maintain woodworking tools and equipment in good condition and ensure a clean, safe working environment
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior craftsmen to uphold craftsmanship standards
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Required competencies and certifications

• Demonstrate proven experience in woodworking, carpentry, or a related craft
• Apply strong practical skills in measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing wood products
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
• Utilize knowledge of woodworking materials, tools, machinery, and finishing techniques effectively
• Maintain high attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality workmanship
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Solve problems efficiently and manage time effectively
• Exhibit responsibility, reliability, and safety-conscious behavior

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possess relevant vocational training or professional certification
