Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting furniture products to customer locations and performing professional on-site assembly and installation. You will play a key role in delivering an quality customer experience by ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
What you will deliver
Transportation & Logistics:
Safely drive the delivery vehicle (lorry/van) to various customer locations according to scheduled routes.
Load and unload goods at the warehouse and delivery sites.
Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
Deliver polite, professional, and high-quality customer service at every site.
Work closely with fellow delivery attendants/team members to complete daily assignments.
Assembly & Installation:
Assemble and install furniture according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
Perform wall mounting, drilling, and tailoring setups for select furniture pieces.
Conduct pre-installation checks to ensure all parts and hardware are present.
Clean up and clear away packaging materials after installation, leaving customer sites tidy.
Who you are
Possess a valid Class 3 Driver’s License with a clean driving record (Lorry driving experience is a strong advantage).
Physically fit and comfortable lifting and handling heavy loads (up to 30 kg).
Prior experience in furniture installation, carpentry, or handyperson work preferred.
Committed to their work and have a strong sense of responsibility
Able to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays
