Responsibilities
You will be a key technology partner to our customers in the Defence sector to thrive on developing the next breakthrough for the defence and security of Singapore. Working closely with the Customer, Project Manager and Technical Lead, you will be part of a project management team as part of an overall project implementation.
Be Part of Our Success
Own the end-to-end software and system architecture for C3 / C2 systems, covering applications, middleware, data, networking and security layers.
Assess the existing architecture, identify gaps (performance, scalability, resilience, security) and drive improvements through to implementation.
Lead integration of C2 sub-systems, sensors and third-party products; debug hands-on during FAT/SAT and SSAT/OSAT.
Act as final technical escalation point; define high availability, redundancy and failover requirements.
Guide developers through design and code reviews; set engineering and CI/CD standards.
Design security-by-design solutions aligned with CII requirements; support hardening, VA/PT remediation and accreditation.
Support pre-sales with solution design, technical proposals and effort estimation.
Qualities We Value
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
8+ years hands-on software / system development, with 3+ years as an architect.
Proven track record as lead architect on at least 2 systems delivered end-to-end, preferably government, defense or CII.
Still codes and debugs hands-on (e.g. Java, C#/.NET, C++ or Python) across OS, network and application layers.
Strong in system integration (APIs, message brokers), Linux/Windows, virtualization /containers and networking.
Good knowledge of security, privacy and compliance in the government domain.
Able to explain technical issues clearly to management, customers and vendors.
Good to have:
C2 / command Centre, sensor(radar, EO/IR) or GIS experience; TOGAF, CISSP or similar.
5 day week @ Jurong East Area
