Role Description

Looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Technical Engineer to lead site operations, oversee project execution and handle BAS/BMS programming and commissioning. This role bridges field operations and technical delivery, requiring strong project coordination skills alongside hands-on programming expertise, and client-facing technical support capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Project & Job Planning: Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily operations, site installations, and project milestones to ensure timely completion.
• Team Supervision & Monitoring: Supervise field technicians and sub-contractors, monitor work progress, ensure adherence to safety standards, and resolve site-level operational issues.
• BMS Programming & Engineering: Design, program, and configure BMS controllers, graphics, and integration points (e.g., Niagara framework, DDC modules, BACnet/Modbus protocols) to successfully complete project deliverables.
• Testing & Commissioning (T&C): Lead system testing, point-to-point checks, and system commissioning to handover projects smoothly to clients.
• Documentation: Prepare operation manuals, as-built drawings, and progress reports for management and clients.
• Maintenance & Breakdown Support: Handle scheduled maintenance contracts, respond to system breakdowns, perform troubleshooting, and provide prompt ad-hoc technical support for existing clients.

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience in BMS programming, graphics development, and controller configuration (Tridium Niagara N4 or similar frameworks preferred).
• Familiarity with standard communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
• Proven troubleshooting capabilities for field sensors, DDC controllers, network communications, and system faults.

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, good communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
• Strong customer service orientation, emergency response readiness, project management mindset, and effective communication skills.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or IT/Computer Science. Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
• Able to work independently.
