Experience: 8+ Years Overall and minimum 5 Years in General Insurance Systems

Are you an experienced System Architect with a strong background in General Insurance Core Systems? We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead architecture design, system enhancement, and integration initiatives for a leading insurance client in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern solution architecture for General Insurance policy administration systems.
• Lead system enhancement, modernization, and integration initiatives.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, System Analysts, and Development Teams.
• Provide technical leadership on application architecture, integration, and deployment strategies.
• Support business transformation and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in General Insurance Policy Administration Systems

Strong General Insurance domain knowledge, including:

• Motor Insurance
• Fire Insurance
• De-Tariff Environment
• Underwriting & Claims
• Reinsurance
• General Insurance Finance

Experience with Malaysian insurance regulations:

• AML
• FSA
• MFRS17
• SST
• GST

Technical Expertise:

• Java / J2EE
• Spring Boot
• RESTful APIs
• Enterprise & Solution Architecture
• System Integration Design

Experience in:

• Informix 4GL
• IBM Informix Database
• Red Hat Linux

Integration experience with:

• ISM
• JPJ
• Merimen
• NSURE POS
• Front-End Systems and Third-Party Platforms

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering professional services to General Insurance companies in Malaysia

Core Insurance System implementation or enhancement projects

TOGAF or other architecture certifications are advantageous

Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
