Role Description The Finance Associate is a contract, on-site role based in Singapore. This role involves supporting day-to-day finance operations, including preparation and review of financial statements, assisting with monthly and quarterly closing, and supporting financial reporting to management and external stakeholders. The Finance Associate will perform analytical reviews of financial performance, reconcile accounts, and help ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to clarify financial information, preparing documentation for audits, and contributing to process improvements in the finance function.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge and experience working with Financial Statements.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
• Candidates should possess experience in Financial Reporting, including preparing schedules and supporting management reports.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Relevant academic background in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (diploma or degree).
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in maritime, trading, or logistics sectors is beneficial but not mandatory.
