Confidential Company Hiring! Full Time Finance Manager in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

Objective:

The group is currently expanding with renewable energy sector and ongoing development in O&G midstream/ downstream business. Being part of the HQ finance team in KL, the candidate will be responsible for financial accounting roles for management services companies, pre-operating companies, investment holding companies; as well as consolidation and quarterly/annual reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve journals for monthly closing of investment holding / pre-operating companies
• Review of consolidation and quarterly/annual reporting package to ultimate holding company, Genting Berhad for group reporting purpose
• Review of group compilation to ultimate holding company.
• Participate in the discussion with external consultant / Group Tax for tax matters
• Prepare / review the annual impairment assessment for investment holding companies
• Review of audited financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards
• Ensure timely submission of all reporting deliverables to Group.
• Liaise with external auditors for half-year review and annual audit
• Liaise with Management Accounting team, Account Payable and Treasury team, Group Tax, Group Treasury, Company Secretary as and when required
• Assist on ad-hoc matters, including but not limited to, preparation of board paper, process and system improvements, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA are encouraged to apply
• Minimum 7 years of working experience with at least 4 years in big 4 audit firm
• Proficient with MS Office, knowledge in SAP & IBM Cognos are added advantage
• Good planning / organizational skills and be able to multi-task
• Ability to work in a team and in a multifunctional and multicultural environment
• Independent and self-discipline
• Good attitude and fast learner
• Good command of English, both written and oral communication skills
