Requirements and Qualifications

Education

• Minimum Diploma in Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Candidates with relevant skills and practical experience are also encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Able to develop product designs based on customer requirements and specifications.
• Basic knowledge of technical drawing, measurements, and product layout.
• Able to prepare clear and accurate design files for production purposes.
• Basic knowledge of wood materials, laser cutting, and product manufacturing processes will be an advantage.

Personal Qualities

• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to generate innovative ideas.
• Responsible and able to complete tasks within the given deadlines.
• Willing to accept feedback and make design revisions based on customer requirements.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop product designs based on customer requirements, specifications, and preferences.
• Revise and refine designs based on customer feedback until final approval is obtained.
• Ensure all measurements, specifications, and design details are accurate before production begins.
• Prepare complete and organised design files for the production team.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure products are manufactured according to the approved designs.
• Organise, manage, and maintain design files and project records systematically.
• Ensure all design tasks are completed accurately and within the required timeframe.

Pay: From RM1,900.00 per month
