Job Role:-Application Support Engineer

Job Location:- Singapore

Experience:- 7-9 Years

• Provide L2 production support for business-critical applications, ensuring service stability and SLA compliance.
• Investigate and resolve application incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate major incident management.
• Monitor application health, logs, batch jobs and alerts using observability tools.
• Support production releases, change management, post-deployment validation, and disaster recovery exercises.
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to improve availability, resilience and operational efficiency.
• Identify recurring issues and reduce manual operational tasks (TOIL) through scripting and automation.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and incident reports.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and business teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in shift rotations and on-call support as required.

• 3?5 years of experience in L2 application support or production support; financial services experience is an advantage.
• Understanding of incident, problem and change management processes (ITIL or equivalent).
• Experience with SQL, log analysis, batch troubleshooting and application monitoring.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and monitoring tools such as Splunk or AppDynamics.
• Exposure to ticketing and delivery tools such as Jira, GitLab or ServiceNow.
• Scripting or automation skills and knowledge of SRE principles are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
