SP Group Hiring! Full Time Senior Engineer-Principal Engineer (Power Transmission Planning) in - Ricebowl

What You'll Do:

• Plan transmission network expansion/developments and HVDC system to meet area load growth and generation.
• Provide consultation to large customers, agencies, EMA, gencos and others for supply to large developments and other connections at 66kV voltage and above
• Plan and design network connection and associated supply network for large customers taking supply at 66kV voltage and above.
• Plan and design generation connection for Gencos.
• Plan network reactive compensation devices for high voltage control and maximized network utilization.
• Prepare Agreements with customers, Gencos and others etc.
• Prepare project proposals and preparation of project paper for seeking EMA and management approval
• Planning of cable route for projects and connectivity to substations and customers/gencos

What You'll Need:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
• Experience in planning/operation of transmission network or design of a distribution network is preferred
• Experience in using power system analysis software is preferred
• Preferably with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
• Possess good interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure and cope with tight deadlines
• Possess good oral and written communication skills
