Responsibilities:
Carry out maintenance and repair work on industrial steel equipment.
Inspect equipment to identify faults, breakdowns and potential mechanical issues.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoot equipment problems and carry out necessary repairs.
Monitor equipment performance and report recurring faults to the supervisor.
Assist with equipment servicing, component replacement and maintenance activities.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work area.
Requirements:
Relevant hands-on experience in maintenance of industrial equipment is required.
Experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and equipment repair is preferred.
Able to work independently and carry out physical maintenance tasks.
