Key Responsibilities

• Submissions & Technical Approval Tracking (Core Focus)
• Lead the compilation, technical vetting, submission, and follow-up of Material Approval Requests (MAR/MAS), Method Statements (MS/MOS), and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) for all MEP packages (HVAC, High/Low Voltage, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary).
• Maintain a live, centralized Master Submission Tracking Matrix to closely monitor Consultant / S.O. review cycles (Code A, B, C, D status), proactively resolving technical comments to eliminate procurement and installation delays.
• Coordinate Request for Information (RFI) logs to clarify design discrepancies and specification clashes with design consultants.
• Inspection Coordination & Document Closing
• Work in lockstep with Site QC Inspectors to log, issue, and archive Requests for Inspection (RFI / WIR) for MEP works (e.g., pipe pressure tests, duct leakage tests, cable megger tests, earthing checks).
• Ensure all on-site inspection records and testing verification forms are countersigned by the Consultant and immediately archived into the central document repository.
• Log, monitor, and drive corrective actions for Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and site observation notices, coordinating re-inspections until formal sign-off and closure.
• Subcontractor & Supplier QA/QC Governance
• Review subcontractor quality submissions, mill certificates, factory test certificates (FAT), third-party lab results, and Technical Data Sheets (TDS) against contract specifications and relevant standards.
• Enforce ITP quality hold points with trade subcontractors to prevent unverified installation and unauthorized site deviations.
• Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and Handover Records
• Compile quality dossiers, Operation and Maintenance Manuals (OMM), and red-line markups for As-Built drawings in coordination with the BIM and drafting teams.
• Consolidate all signed QA/QC records, testing certificates, and calibration reports required for phased inspections, authority handovers, and final project sign-off.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of proven QA/QC or site engineering documentation experience on large-scale infrastructure, data centers, industrial high-tech facilities, or commercial projects.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Sound understanding of MEP systems, construction sequences, and installation quality standards (e.g., ASHRAE, BS/IEC, NFPA, local statutory building bylaws).
• Hands-on familiarity with formal approval workflows (ITP, Method Statements, MAR, RFI, NCR, Punch Lists).
• Working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Aconex, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud, or Procore is a significant advantage.
• Language & Communication: Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory for technical correspondence with international consultants, clients, and technical audits.
• Core Competencies: High resilience under project deadlines, systematic tracking skills, exceptional attention to technical detail, and strong cross-functional coordination ability.
