Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced
IT Project Manager
to lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise software applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, vendors, and technical specialists to ensure successful project implementation.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in
software application delivery
, preferably within Singapore's public sector or other large-scale enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full
software development lifecycle (SDLC)
, from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and handover.
Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
Coordinate software developers, business analysts, QA, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
Work closely with customers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure project alignment.
Monitor project progress, manage risks and dependencies, and drive timely issue resolution.
Oversee
SIT, UAT, system integration, and production deployment
activities.
Lead project governance meetings and prepare progress reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
Ensure compliance with project governance, security, quality, and change management standards
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
5+ years of IT project management experience
, with a strong track record in software application delivery.
Proven experience managing
end-to-end application development and implementation projects
.
Good understanding of software architecture, system integration, APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
Experience managing cross-functional technical teams, vendors, budgets, and project risks.
Familiarity with
Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience delivering
Singapore Government or public sector IT projects
is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with government IT governance and security requirements, including
IM8
, is a plus.
PMP, PRINCE2, CITPM, or Agile certifications
are advantageous.
